Policy paper “Aftermath of the Senegalese presidential elections 2024 and the security situation in the country”
Richard Klauber, a research intern at the Prague Centre for Middle East Relations (PCMR) of CEVRO University, published a policy paper entitled “Aftermath of the Senegalese presidential elections 2024 and the security situation in the country”. Memorandum of Understanding between CEVRO Institute and EMP-ABB in Mali
PCMR’s Vojtěch Bílý visited Bamako. The purpose was to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between CEVRO Institute and École de Maintien de la Paix Alioune Blondin Beye (EMP-ABB). The scope of cooperation with EMP-ABB includes activities such as research and analysis in the areas of peace and security, publications, exchange of lecturers, and knowledge-sharing activities.
PCMR’s Vojtěch Bílý Meets Imam Mahmoud Dicko in Mali
During his visit to Mali, PCMR’s Vojtěch Bílý also conducted a meeting with Imam Mahmoud Dicko, one of the most influential politico-religious figures in the country. Imam Dicko is a prominent religious leader who is influential not only in the matters of faith but also in politics. Imam Dicko supported opposition movement against president Ibrahim Boucar Keita in 2020.

Launching of Prague Centre for Middle East Relations (PCMR)
Prague Centre for Middle East Relations (PCMR) was established in September 2019 as an internal research and education institution of the CEVRO Institute. PCMR is based in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. Its main aim is to further enhance in-depth understanding of the contemporary political, security, social and economic developments in the Middle East.
