Roundtable “Tackling Lebanon’s Crisis”

Prague Centre for Middle East Relations (PCMR) of CEVRO organized a closed roundtable “Tackling Lebanon’s Crisis” with Sami Zoughaib, Economist and Research Manager at Lebanon-based think-tank The Policy Initiative. Sami Zoughaib focuses on politics, political economy and governance in Lebanon. The event took place on March 25, 2024 at CEVRO.
The debate was moderated by Jan Daniel, Senior Research Fellow at Institute for International Relations (IIR).
The event was held under the Chatham House Rules.
Sami Zoughaib is an Economist and the Research Manager at The Policy Initiative (https://www.thepolicyinitiative.org/), a Beirut-based think-tank. His research focuses on Lebanon’s political economy, governance structures, macroeconomics, and local economic development. Zoughaib earned his Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Reading and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the American University of Beirut.
